  • Please Add your Creativity

Hi everyone.  I would like to write/blog a Halloween story and I would love for all of you to add your own twist to it.  Remember when you'd sit around a campfire and one person would start a story and everyone would jump in with their own ideas?  Well that is what I'd like to do.  But PLEASE lets keep this more at a childrens level.  Nothing gory and no charaters being killed ok.  HAVE FUN AND ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!

It was a cold drizzily night.  Shelia was walking home from work when she looked down and saw a book laying on the sidewalk.  She picked it up and courisly began to thumb through it.  At first it looked like an ordinary childrens Golden Book.  But as she looked closer at one page, she discovered it was a map of her neighborhood.  She also noticed some clues writen at the bottom that seemed to lead to some kind of treasure..............................

  • Why reading labels is so important

Today it seems like we are ALL reading the labels on our food. Trying to stay away from certain amounts of Carbs and Saturated Fats. We seem to be keeping ourselves on the move to burn off those extra calories from the doughnut that we JUST had to sneak this morning.

If you don’t take anything away from reading what you are about to read, just remember to read your labels and to educate yourself.

    CHECK THIS OUT!!!!!!!!!!

It is not enough anymore to simply keep cleaning products locked in a cupboard with baby locks; it is not going to keep your baby safe. Your headaches that you have are not from your spouse or the kids. In addition, that rash you have is probably not from poison ivy.

Please take a few minutes to Google Quaternium-15. You will find that it is a formaldehyde releaser. It’s know as an allergen and a carcinogen (cancer causing agent)

Product manufactures CANNOT put the word Formaldehyde on product labels. They DO NOT care about our health they just care about selling the product and making money. They hide the word Formaldehyde behind many names like Quaternium-15, Dowicil75, hexaminium chloride, hexamethylenetetramine chloroallyl chloride, and MANY others that seem like gibberish to us.

    YOU NEED TO BE EDUCATED.

EDUCATE YOURSELF - THIS IS YOUR LIFE AND YOUR HEALTH!

Quaternium-15 is in ALL your cleaning products, laundry products, health and beauty products and even BABY products. NOW who would put harmful products in baby products? Johnson and Johnson do. You will see that when you Google Quaternium-15.

Quaternium-15 and other chemicals found in all of these products cause asthma, ADD & ADHD, neurological disorders, birth defects, infertility, and many types of cancers.

Now honestly, WHY would you want to use products that have these side effects and dangers?

You may be unaware that there ARE safer, healthier products out there, which do not have ammonia, harmful phosphates, bleach, aerosol propellants, and harsh abrasives.

Commercials rant and rave about how great their product works, but why are they wearing yellow rubber gloves when using the product? Why does it say on the label “USE IN A WELL VENTALATED AREA”?

    THINK ABOUT IT…

EDUCATE YOURSELF - THIS IS YOUR LIFE AND YOUR HEALTH!

Okay, so maybe you still are not buying what I am telling... all those big companies care about is the bottom line. They pay big money advertisers to make you believe. One commercial can cost millions depending on the time slot chosen, and the TV Show interrupted – you follow me yet.

Let’s say you are one of those people that say, “well I grew up around these products and I’m fine.” Did you know that manufactures change and add new chemicals to their products every year to make them work better or be more powerful? Companies keep trying to top out the next. The cleaning products today are far more harmful than they were 20 yrs ago.

You may also be one of those people that say, “I have skin problems because my parents have skin irritations.” YEAH they have skin irritations because of the laundry products they use or the hand cream they use that is suppose to be SO GOOD for the skin. It isn’t.

Furthermore, you might also be more prone to getting headaches or even migraines. Stop using your cleaning products and see how many headaches you have afterwards. I can assure you it is not the fragrance in these products that are causing the headaches; it is the odorless chemicals hidden in that fragrance causing the problem.

I am informing you about this because I am passionate about what I do. It is important to educate people about the dangers of certain harmful chemicals that we find in our homes. .I teach people how to convert their homes to get rid of the toxins hiding within. Did you know that your home is 100 times more polluted then the air outside?

I know you have all seen the new Clorox Go Green cleaners. I picked one up the other day. I wrote down the ingredients and came home and googgled them. Clorox Go Green cleaners are not as GREEN as they say they are. FALSE ADVERTIZEMENT. That is why it is soooo important to educate yourself in this subject.

PLEASE READ YOUR LABELS AND KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BRINGING INTO YOUR HOME AND EXPOSING YOUR FAMILY TOO

  • What is your favorite thing about the fall season?

My favorite things about the fall season is the color of the changing leaves.  The crunching of the leaves.  Raking the leaves into a big pile and jumping in it with my kids and remembering my childhood.  The cool crisp air.  A new school year and of course Halloween.

  • In today's society, is being a homemaker more difficult or easier than before? How?

Im a homemaker.  I don't know if it was harder then or now.  But I do know it's hard.  I love being a homemaker and being able to raise my children and saving money on daycare.  As a homemaker, I'm with the kids 24/7.  Playing with them and making meals for them.  Not to mention cleaning and doing laundry inbetween and sometimes having dinner ready when hubby comes home.  But with the way our economy is today, we all know our money situation is tough.  Not only am I a homemaker, I work from home as well with a great team of moms called Motivated Moms.  Also I work outside of the home at night.  Anyone who is a homemaker nows that being with kids all day long isn't easy with the winning and the arguing.  My hubby and I have arguements over free time and who's job is harder.  But at the end of the day, I count my blessings and I'm so greatful to be able to be home for my children.

  • The In-Laws think we are crazy(for lack of a better word)

HI I'm Heather I'm New here.  My hubby is in the Navy.  When he first joined we were lucky to be stationed near his family.  We had our first baby a month before we were restationed. At our new duty station, being a new mom, I new I wanted to stay home with my daughter.  Well my mother-law said that my daughter would grow up with no social skills.  "There are such things as play groups." I would say to her.  My daughter is 3 now and in pre school and she loves it.   Now I have a son and I still stay at home with my kids and I also work from home. My husband and I don't smoke(non of our friends do either) and we use all organic products from everything from cleaning products to toothpaste and shampoo.  And my brother in law said we are freaks and he feels bad for our kids b/c they are going to grow up freaks and we keep our kids in a bubble.    Im glad we live so far away from his family. But at the same time I hate that we argue b/c my hubby gets torn between us and his family.  I've caught him telling his family one thing and totally doing or telling us something totallly opposite. Is there anyone out there that is going through this same kind of ordeal???
